They Say Get Involved!

Published on 2022-06-02

It is widely known that authentic and human content is a safe bet on social networks. It generates interest and leads to likes, comments, shares and new subscribers.

However, getting what is known as ‘field’ content can be a challenge for external social network managers. This content is almost always generated by employees and administrators of garages, auto centres and auto parts stores, and usually isn’t used, because most people don’t have the reflex to take advantage of opportunities to post ‘field’ content on their company’s Facebook page.

Take Advantage of Opportunities

Throughout the year, many events occur within a company. These are all amazing content opportunities for a Facebook page, in addition to other social networks, like Instagram for example.

To help you develop your field content creation reflex, here are a list of events that are likely to occur in the coming months that deserve your attention:

  • The anniversary of the garage, auto centre or store
  • Introduction of a new client
  • A recognition or excellence award received by an employee
  • A staff promotion notice
  • A staff retirement
  • Trainings for employees
  • A social activity

A Picture Is Worth a Thousand Words

Don't forget to immortalize the event using the camera in your mobile phone. Visuals have always been very important on Facebook to support any text.

Last step, send this great content to Véronique Chedore-Cantin, your Account and Social Media Manager at Mechanic Web Services.

In the article A Committed Client: Alain Côté Auto Parts, you will discover a Mechanic Web Services client who has perfected the reflex for seizing opportunities for field and human content, and sharing them with Accounts Director Geneviève Lizotte.
